Chief Financial Officer

About the Role:

This key position is responsible for overseeing and controlling the flow of cash, income, expenditures, and financial instruments. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the organization, providing insightful financial guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Reviews and monitors accounts, prepares activity reports, and financial forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  2. Analyzes financial performance against key business metrics and documents pertinent financial highlights to inform strategic business decisions.
  3. Identifies, investigates, and analyzes potential finance process improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  4. Develops and administers financial systems/models to provide timely and accurate financial information.
  5. Assists management in securing funds and investments to drive business growth.
  6. Consolidates financial reports, budgets, and accounts analysis for management reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
  7. Performs financial risk assessments to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Manages and supervises finance department activities to ensure seamless operation and high-quality results.
  9. Prepares financial documents and reports as required by regulatory agencies to maintain compliance.
  10. Assists management in strategic analysis and planning to drive business success.
  11. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, procedures, and industry standards to maintain a positive reputation and minimize risk.
  12. Requires a graduated Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field from a reputable university.
  13. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Top 5 Auditing and Accounting Firm.
  14. Able to work in a high-growth, innovative, technologically cutting-edge environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  15. Strong mathematical and analytical skills, detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook, and Powerpoint.
  16. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  17. Knowledge of accounting software systems is an advantage.
