Staff Accountant

At BlueVoyant, we are seeking a seasoned Staff Accountant to oversee our financial transactions and manage a team of accounting professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general accounting operations, including reconciling account balances and bank statements.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders. Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management and executives.
  • Develop and implement effective accounting procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP requirements.
  • Supervise and support accounting assistants and bookkeepers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, Chief or Senior Accountant.
  • Profound experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software packages, such as QuickBooks.
  • Good understanding of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant certifications like CMA or CPA.
