
Revenue Growth Specialist

This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional who can build strong relationships with customers and drive revenue growth. As an accounts receivable representative, you will be responsible for securing revenue, building customer relationships, and fostering positive interactions to drive ongoing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Contact business-to-business (B2B) customers via phone, email, or fax to discuss outstanding invoices and billing issues.
- Manage a collections portfolio ranging from 300 to 600 accounts, focusing on a Canadian and/or US territory of accounts.
- Negotiate customer payment terms as needed based on assessment of account status to ensure maximum payment recovery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customer accounts and champion our company's receivable policy.
- Manage past-due hold requests within the SLA in order to mitigate risk by assessing customer accounts and making decisions to release orders up to $50K for each request, and also making recommendations for any requests over $50K within the hierarchy.
- Work with internal sales reps to proactively troubleshoot payment issues such as invoicing, pricing, product/service issues.
- Document and track collections activity and work from a monthly aging report.
- Manage individual and department monthly receivable targets.
- Reconcile accounts regularly.
- A completed college diploma preferably in Accounting or Finance or related experience.
- Two to three years of experience in corporate B2B collections focusing on medium to enterprise-level customers.
- Experience with the Accounts Receivable escalation process and taking initiative to resolve account issues working with sales when necessary.
- A good understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Similar experience managing a portfolio of accounts.
- Customer service oriented.
