Technical Support Representative Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Technical Support Representative. In this role, you will be the primary interface for customers' hardware and software technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first level technical assistance to customers on hardware, software applications and operating systems.
  • Manage daily workload through an incident tracking system and record problem resolution into a knowledge management system.
  • Collaborate with field and divisional groups to create process documentation and participate in continuous improvement work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Mechatronics or other related fields.
  • Minimum 1-year technical experience.
  • Previous experience in a customer-service role is a plus.
  • Knowledge and comprehension of hardware systems.
  • Ability to use MS Office Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent phone, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work on shifting schedules, including night shifts.
