Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management initiatives across various business units.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive incident report register, ensuring that all required information is accurately captured in the incident reporting tool.
  • Gather monthly key risk indicators (KRI) statistics for the KRI dashboard and management reporting.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify corrective measures and risk-mitigating initiatives, ensuring timely completion of pre-set objectives.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, risk metrics analysis, risk convergence, enterprise risk and control framework design, and integrated operational risk management.
  • Evaluate compliance with risk management requirements at both local and group levels.
  • Monitor and maintain enterprise risk exception processes to identify areas of non-compliance.
  • Foster Risk Management Awareness and Training initiatives across the organization.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Risk Management, Business Administration, Information Systems / Security, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, or business continuity.
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks for financial institutions, credit bureaus, operational controls, and risk-based methodologies.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Previous experience in banking, financing, lending, or FinTech companies.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Detailed-oriented and committed to quality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Forward-looking and creative thinker with a general problem-solving mindset.
  • Team player with the ability to cooperate with colleagues from other departments.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
