This position involves working as a Personal Injury case manager for a law firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate new cases and provide initial assessments to the legal team, ensuring timely and effective decision-making.
- Develop comprehensive case strategies and oversee their implementation, guaranteeing the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Manage case files accurately and maintain up-to-date records of all case activity, facilitating efficient communication and collaboration among team members.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on case status and addressing any questions or concerns they may have, fostering strong relationships built on trust and transparency.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the legal team, ensuring that clients are informed and satisfied with the progress of their cases, promoting a culture of excellence in customer service.
- Cultivate partnerships with outside experts and vendors as needed, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of representation and support.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to the legal team as they work on individual cases, contributing to the growth and development of their skills and expertise.
- Conduct thorough research and prepare essential documents, such as pleadings and briefs, to support the legal team's efforts and advance the interests of our clients.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant in a Personal Injury law firm, with a proven track record of success and achievement.
- In-depth knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and practices, combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
- The capacity to manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proven ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other case management software, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills as required.
