Job Overview

This role involves coordinating medical cases, communicating with attorneys and healthcare providers, and managing documentation to support legal referrals and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison for medical cases, including personal injury, workers' compensation, and auto-accident referrals.
  • Communicate regularly with attorneys, law offices, and case managers regarding patient status, medical records, and reports.
  • Coordinate medical appointments, follow-ups, and diagnostics for legal cases.
  • Track and manage documentation, including medical reports, billing, liens, and legal correspondence.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient data.
  • Maintain accurate records in case management software or EMR systems.
  • Generate narrative reports, deposition summaries, and lien documents promptly.
  • Follow up with physicians for timely completion of med-legal reports.
  • Collaborate with billing and collections teams to ensure lien accuracy and payment follow-up.
Requirements
  • Experience in medical case management, insurance, or legal services.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Willingness to work in US time zones.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
