Job Description:

The crew logistics coordinator executes crew change logistic arrangements for on-signing and off-signing seafarers across all vessels within the group. This involves leveraging key technology tools and crewing expertise to provide exceptional crew change logistics arrangement.

  • Cultivate effective relationships with vessel Masters, fleet cells, mobilisation cells, port agents, travel providers, and customers to ensure seamless crew change logistics arrangements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records in ShipSure and ticketing platform on ongoing crew change arrangements.
  • Co-ordinate crew logistic support including flights, hotel, immigration requirements, and other transportation needs for on-signing and off-signing seafarers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and meet set KPI's.
  • Adhere to operational and budgetary requirements when undertaking crew change arrangements.
  • Provide support to seafarers through toll-free numbers regarding travel-related issues or requirements.
  • Actively participate in rotational weekend/holiday duties to achieve 24/7 support for crew change travel arrangements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a crewing company.
  • Experience in arranging crew change logistics activities for seafarers.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Results-driven approach.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
