Job Title

Lead IP Design Engineer


Job Overview

The role of the Lead IP Design Engineer is to manage a team of IP design engineers and oversee the productivity and quality of their work.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing teams, as well as strong technical skills in AUTOCAD 2D/3D, Revit, and E3D.

They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of IP design engineers and oversee the productivity and quality of their work.
  • Identify training needs for the team and participate in recruitment interviews.
  • Organize newcomers' arrival and induction, as well as departmental activities and development.
  • Global scheduling of IP designers' activities, allocation to projects, and workload follow-up.
  • Reporting and follow-up of timesheets, management of absences and sick leaves.
  • Identify software and hardware needs and coordinate procurement.
  • Implement SUEZ methods, tools, and standards related to the IP discipline.
  • Monitor department performance by defining and following KPIs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years related work experience
  • Experience with AUTOCAD 2D/3D, Revit, E3D
  • Autonomous and able to work in a team; able to work independently under minimal supervision and deliver high-quality outputs
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented with strong ownership of deliverables/reports
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Leadership with capacity to manage a small team; time management, organizational skills, and effective communication
