Job Overview

This role involves providing technical support to the maintenance team by analyzing and troubleshooting defects in aircraft systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aviation regulations and industry standards, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The position requires a high level of autonomy and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze defect trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective troubleshooting strategies to resolve complex defects.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure prompt resolution of defects and prevent operational disruptions.
  • Participate in safety management system (SMS) initiatives to ensure compliance with all applicable safety and security laws and regulations.
  • Elevate issues to superiors as necessary.
  • Perform other tasks as directed.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or associated field with at least six years' experience in line maintenance and engineering.
  • Familiarity with typical fleet technical management systems such as AIMS and AMOS.
  • Proficient in Airbus Troubleshooting Systems (AIRMAN).
  • Commercial aircraft technical training for current Cebu Pacific fleet.
