Technical Support Engineer Role

The role of Technical Support Engineer involves providing frontline technical and product support for customers across Americas and Europe via phone, email, and online chat.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve customers at Call Center via phone, email or online chat for all products, including technical or selling related queries.
  • Identify and record all inquiries clearly, and respond on time accordingly.
  • Provide technical documents and related information to customers.
  • Recognize customer needs and promote product and peripheral solutions that best fit requirements.
  • Recommend our products cross to competitors, collect application and commercial information, and track and follow up on selling potential.
  • Support online remote or field troubleshooting for end customers.
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical or Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of electronic product design or related tech-support/customer service experience.
  • Experience with AC/DC or DC/DC power supplies, photonics, PCM, ESD, ESVM or related areas preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and overcome difficulties.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Power design and application knowledge; good customer service orientation.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PPT, etc.).
  • Team orientation, positive attitude, and sense of responsibility; good English communication skills.
  • Able to work afternoon and night shifts.
