Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions across a full-stack environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation, ensure service reliability, and align technical architecture with business strategy.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, considering automation, availability, performance, scale, and cost.
  • Ensure technical and security best practices along with industry standards are adhered to in the design of technical infrastructure.
  • Participate in technical design sessions and work closely with multiple teams to review infrastructure designs for new projects.
  • Deliver high-quality technical infrastructure on-time, following established processes.
  • Automate implementation and operational support of infrastructure.
  • Provide estimates for all priority and non-priority projects along with recommended scope or schedule changes based on capacity and unforeseen challenges.
  • Participate in technical implementation to ensure quality of infrastructure, automation, and overall productivity of the SRE team.
  • Track Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to ensure health of technical infrastructure and services.
  • Troubleshoot production issues affecting services as needed, taking corrective actions.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure capacity, scaling, security, and availability of services.
Requirements
  • 5-7+ years of experience with commercial service infrastructure at both software and infrastructure levels.
  • Functional skills – System Design and Architecture, DevOps/Deployment Automation, Troubleshooting, Service Monitoring.
  • Possess strong written and communications skills for collaboration with various teams and management.
  • Solid analytical skills, especially in translating business requirements into technical designs.
  • Able to adapt and embrace change and support business strategy and vision.
  • Knowledge of next-generation design patterns/architecture like micro-services, layered pattern, cloud.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new skills and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with OS: Linux, Windows; Automation: Terraform, Bladelogic, Chef, Jenkins, Ansible; Cloud: AWS, Azure; Scripting: PowerShell, Perl, Shell Scripts.
