Job Description

The Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) supports the stability, scalability, and performance of the organization's cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on assisting with automation, monitoring, and incident response while gaining hands-on experience with AWS services. It's an excellent opportunity for those eager to build expertise in site reliability engineering principles under the guidance of senior engineers.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC).
  • Support the creation and use of automation scripts for deployments and routine tasks.
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on monitoring and alerting systems (CloudWatch, X-Ray, etc.).
  • Perform regular checks to ensure compliance with backup, disaster recovery, and security standards.
  • Document processes and contribute to improving cloud infrastructure practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of AWS cloud services and Linux-based systems.
  • Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Motivated to learn and grow within cloud infrastructure and SRE practices.

Professional Experience
  • Exposure to cloud environments, ideally AWS (EC2, S3, RDS).
  • Hands-on experience with basic scripting and automation (Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch).
  • Internship or project experience related to cloud infrastructure or IT operations.
