Job Description

The Reliability Engineer plays a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining reliable, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. Working closely with development and operations teams, you will help automate processes, improve system performance, and ensure high availability of services. This position is well-suited for individuals with foundational cloud experience who want to deepen their expertise in AWS and site reliability engineering practices.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD tools to streamline deployments.
  • Support the design and implementation of monitoring and alerting solutions (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Datadog, Prometheus).
  • Participate in on-call rotations, assist in incident response, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to post-mortem reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud performance, security, and cost.
  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices to strengthen operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
  • Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with scripting/automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Professional Experience
  • 1–2 years working with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC).
  • Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging practices.
  • Experience participating in on-call rotations and contributing to incident management and resolution.
