Collections Specialist Role Overview

This position is responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely recoveries, and supporting global clients with high accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end credit and recovery process, including payment collection, follow-ups, and negotiation of payment arrangements.
  • Identify and escalate delinquent accounts; recommend next steps for resolution.
  • Perform account reconciliations to resolve billing/payment discrepancies.
  • Handle large volume transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare recovery reports and maintain updated records of all recovery activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of disputes.
  • Leverage tools such as Ariba, Coupa, and Corrigo to manage invoicing and recoveries.
  • Support audits and provide financial reporting when required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Credit and Recovery (payment follow-up, delinquency management, and payment arrangements).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related business course.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience handling high-volume transactions.
  • Prior experience supporting US or multinational clients highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Ariba, Coupa, or Corrigo is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
