Business Finance Specialist

This is an exceptional opportunity for a business finance specialist to play a pivotal role in strategic planning and ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive review and analysis of existing business financial records to support the acquisition process.
  • Provide expert guidance on the financial aspects of the business purchase transaction.
  • Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations and requirements.
  • Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with local laws.
  • Analyze financial statements and reports to identify optimization opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
  • Deliver strategic advice to inform critical business decisions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with financial authorities and represent the company during any audit processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  • CPA or ACCA certification strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience working with businesses and comprehensive knowledge of Australian financial compliance requirements.
  • Qualified to practice finance in Australia.
  • Proficiency with financial software, with Xero experience highly valued.
  • Experience with business acquisitions or due diligence processes preferred but not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
