Job Overview

The Financial Planning and Analysis Director spearheads the strategic development of comprehensive financial planning processes, fostering robust budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive informed decision-making. This key role collaborates closely with senior leadership to provide actionable financial insights, promote process enhancements, and implement automation using advanced tools like NetSuite and Power BI.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Design and maintain sophisticated financial models to support long-term strategic planning, ROI modeling, and scenario analysis.
  • Conduct thorough financial performance analyses and present findings to inform key decisions and optimize resource allocation.
  • Work in tandem with Sales, Operations, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of financial planning with broader business strategy.
  • Oversee commission management, sales pipeline reporting, and prequalification analysis in collaboration with Sales.
  • Partner with IT to design and implement efficient automation solutions and enhanced financial reporting systems using NetSuite, Power BI, and customized dashboards.
  • Prepare and deliver concise, data-driven financial reports and visualizations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support month-end close activities to guarantee alignment of actuals with budget and forecast.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives within finance to drive operational efficiency, scalability, and continuous growth.
