Job Summary

  • Key Responsibilities:

The Remote Association Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of homeowner associations (HOAs), acting as the primary remote contact for board members, homeowners, and vendors. This role involves coordinating meetings, ensuring compliance with governing documents, and maintaining smooth operations from a home office.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating meetings, including scheduling and remotely facilitating board meetings and annual meetings using video conferencing software.
  • Preparing agendas, collecting supporting documents, and coordinating meeting minutes with administrative support.
  • Tracking and managing HOA compliance matters such as rule enforcement, owner correspondence, and architectural review processes.
  • Collaborating with internal accounting to ensure budgets, dues, and financials are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Monitoring open action items for each HOA and following up with vendors, internal team members, or board contacts as needed.
  • Maintaining and updating digital records including governing documents, insurance, meeting notes, and maintenance logs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in HOA management, property management, or real estate coordination.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Zoom, and HOA/PM software such as AppFolio or Buildium.
