As a Personal Injury Legal Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the legal team with case management and research. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate new cases and provide initial assessments to the legal team
  • Develop case strategies and oversee the implementation of these strategies
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all case activity
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case status and answer any questions they may have
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and the legal team, ensuring that clients are informed and satisfied with the progress of their cases

This is an independent contractor position, responsible for own taxes and insurance. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing multiple cases, prioritizing tasks effectively, and working independently as well as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other case management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
