Medical Intake Specialist Role

This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who excel in fast-paced environments with multiple moving pieces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and add all relevant providers to client requests.
  • Locate billing providers using various tools, including Chartswap and direct provider calls.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of cases by adding identified providers to the request.
  • Review and correct incoming ROIs that are incomplete or inaccurate.
  • Prepare accurate base forms and generate complete submission packets.
  • Conduct thorough QA reviews of each ROI packet to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain high documentation accuracy in internal and client-facing notes.
  • Assign requests to team members based on workload and utilization.
  • Escalate special provider requirements or edge cases to Client Success Managers.
  • Ensure 100% of escalations are resolved within 24 hours by coordinating with law firms' case managers.
  • Provide coverage for urgent tasks such as payment processing or fax monitoring when needed.
  • Contribute to process improvements, such as reducing turnaround times or streamlining workflow.
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members.
  • Ensure adherence to scheduling and leave management.
