Job Title: Global Development Industry Correspondent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced reporter to join our team as a global development industry correspondent. This is a remote position that requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively with our editorial team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for covering the inside story of the global development industry, including big new projects and initiatives, leadership transitions, layoffs, mergers, and fundraising innovations. They will write exclusive stories, quick-hit news pieces, long-form features, and newsletters that are part of our email products.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in journalism and a proven track record of breaking stories and delivering original reporting. They will also have a passion for global development and the curiosity to dig into how the industry works.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience as a beat reporter
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage directly with readers
  • Native level of English with excellent written English
  • A bachelor's degree
