Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Public Relations and Communications Manager to lead our organization's media relations and outreach efforts.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement effective public relations strategies to promote the hotel, develop strong relationships with local and regional journalists, and pitch stories that highlight the hotel's unique features.
  • Develop and maintain the hotel's media materials and website, including press releases, marketing collaterals, social media content, and web content.
  • Host journalists at the hotel when appropriate and stay current on destination promotional efforts.
  • Liaise with onsite contacts about media visits and requests, manage all media enquiries, press visits, and onsite productions.
  • Monitor all forms of media (TV, radio, online, social media, and print), report on media mentions, and share best media coverage.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, or a relevant discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in public relations or communication, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to establish strong media and social connections, and integrate PR programs to support marketing goals.
