Customer Service Representative Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of customer inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions through various communication channels.
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives to meet their expectations.
  • Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise, promoting our company's offerings and driving revenue growth.
  • Build sustainable relationships with customers by going the extra mile, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay current with industry changes/trends to provide best-in-class service and support.
  • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets, delivering exceptional results and exceeding expectations.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience is preferred, demonstrating expertise in handling complex issues and resolving customer complaints effectively.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, showcasing a strong foundation in education and a willingness to learn.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous experience in a customer support role, highlighting a track record of success in providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening, enabling effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Basic computer and typing skills, including proficiency in software applications and technology.
  • Consistent attention to detail and quality, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards diverse customer needs.
  • Strong time management skills with the majority of time focused on inbound calls, prioritizing tasks and managing workload efficiently.
  • Flexibility with scheduling is preferred, as we will have an occasional need to cover evening and/or weekend shifts, accommodating changing business needs.
  • Must have your own laptop, meeting the technical requirements for remote work and flexibility.
