Job Description

The role of a Patient Service Representative involves interacting with patients and resolving their inquiries in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming calls according to established procedures and protocols.
  • Assist patients in addressing their concerns, collecting outstanding balances, and collaborating with third-party entities regarding patient account inquiries.
  • Place outbound collection calls, assist patients with billing queries, and cross-train for tasks assigned to the team.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA guidelines by safeguarding protected health information.
  • Support departmental goals, maintain a good attendance record, and be punctual.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
