Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our HR Manager in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HR platforms and be able to handle payroll data, timecard issues, and compliance reports with accuracy.

The coordinator will also serve as the primary point of contact for routine HR inquiries when the HR Manager is unavailable, helping keep the HR team organized and responsive.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong working knowledge of online timekeeping platforms
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
  • Friendly, resourceful communicator who knows when to escalate issues
  • Comfortable handling repetitive tasks, shifting priorities, and managing a to-do list style workflow
  • Able to work independently during off-hours or with minimal supervision
  • Bonus: Experience supporting in-person leadership events or insurance-related HR administration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, verify, and troubleshoot timekeeping data in Paylocity
  • Assist with weekly/monthly payroll processing
  • Maintain HR documents and compliance reports
  • Respond to HR inquiries via Slack and email, including light weekend support
  • Escalate complex issues to the HR Manager
  • Draft job descriptions and manage postings on platforms like Indeed
  • Coordinate candidate screening schedules with the HR Manager
  • Publish internal HR newsletters and updates
  • Monitor performance review timelines
  • Support leadership events and HR planning initiatives

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Tuesday & Wednesday: No work
  • Monday & Thursday: 6 hours each, 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM PST (some flexibility)
  • Friday: 8 hours, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST (no flexibility; fixed schedule)
  • Saturday & Sunday: 4 hours each, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM PST (some flexibility)
