Proposal Coordinator Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless flow of activities during proposal and expression of interest (EOI) preparation, including compiling, editing, and proofreading proposals to ensure they are presented in a professional and concise manner.

The role involves reviewing and revising documents prepared by others, coordinating the preparation of those materials in a completed bid document, determining the scope and timeline of EOI/proposal development, and coordinating with others during the preparation.

Additionally, the candidate will develop knowledge of the business, its products and services, by reading and reviewing previous bid documents and tapping into the knowledge of functional groups. They will also develop standard templates and maintain a divisional computer-based repository for document storage and reference materials.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years' solid experience in preparing proposals for infrastructure projects for international financial institutions, with a proven success rate and scoring consistently high technical marks. They will possess excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, especially in English grammar, spelling, and vocabulary.

Other responsibilities include developing desktop publishing capability for proposal covers, promotional material, or other materials as required, keeping all parties informed on the progress, status, and outcome of EOIs/proposals, and preparing monthly reports on win/loss ratios, cost of proposals, sector, and office costs.
