The Member Experience Specialist plays a pivotal role in daily operations, providing administrative support to our member experience & clinical teams, managing patient communications, and ensuring efficient workflow within the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Coordination: Schedule and confirm virtual appointments, manage patient records, and coordinate follow-up communications via email or phone.
- Administrative Support: Assist with daily administrative tasks including call management and data entry into electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients via phone, email, and chat, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Medical Records Management: Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with our providers, technical support, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and timely resolution of issues.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, with a proven track record of delivering excellent results.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Office Suite, telehealth platforms, and EHR systems is essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
- Organization: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail, are required to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Customer Service: Demonstrated customer service experience with a patient-centered approach is essential.
- Confidentiality: Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations is mandatory.
