Job Description

As an Infrastructure Sector Manager, you will be responsible for managing the growth of our business in the infrastructure sector. You will develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue growth and market share goals, and build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor activities in the infrastructure sector.
    • Evaluate market needs and align them with our company's offerings and capabilities.
  • Business Development Strategy:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue growth and market share goals.
    • Identify and prioritize target clients, sectors, and regions for business expansion.
  • Bid Management:
    • Oversee the preparation of proposals, bids, and tenders, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to present compelling solutions to potential clients.
    • Assists the estimating team during site visits, during clarification meetings with the prospect, and until a contract is eventually awarded.
    • Secures the Notice of Award, Notice to Proceed, and Construction Agreement/Contract.
    • Endorses the Construction Contract to the Operations team for project implementation.
  • Partnership Development:
    • Identify and secure partnerships and joint venture opportunities to enhance our competitive position.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Set and achieve targets for revenue, profitability, and client acquisition.
    • Monitor and report on business development activities, pipeline progress, and market conditions.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum overall experience of 15 years; with at least 10 of them specific experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the construction industry.
    • Proven track record in securing and managing large-scale projects in infrastructure sectors.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
