The Role

This role is a critical component of our Infrastructure Team, focusing on managing ongoing and potential major project bids, ensuring successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing complex infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with development partners, government agencies, and private sector stakeholders.
  • Providing transaction advisory, bid management, and project finance services to the team.
  • Drafting and managing contracts, including consultancy, works, supply, and PPP agreements and ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting market research and policy analysis to support business development initiatives.
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Facilitating stakeholder communication and public relations campaigns.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the infrastructure and development sectors, especially on rail.
  • Providing training and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in procurement, project management or business development in the infrastructure sector, preferably in railways and transportation projects.
  • Experience working with international development partners (e.g., ADB, JICA) and government agencies.
  • Strong understanding of PPP frameworks and procurement guidelines.
  • Excellent technical writing, policy research, and public relations skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and project finance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
