**Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor**

FOREST LAKE DEVELOPMENT, INC. is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Quantity Surveyor who will assume a pivotal role within our team.

Responsibilities:

  • The chosen candidate will hold the responsibility of providing in-house estimates for a range of land development and vertical construction projects as basis for comparison of awarding potential contractors.
  • The selected individual will be responsible for preparation of bid documents for construction projects.
  • Cost monitoring and control of ongoing projects are also an essential part of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A licensed Civil Engineer with relevant experience is required.
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Civil 3D software.
  • Proficiency in Revit is highly valued.
  • With at least 3 years of experience in construction, particularly in quantity estimates, bidding, and contract review.
  • Must have experience and proficiency in estimation of both land development cost and vertical construction.
  • Knowledge and experience in land development is a significant advantage.
  • Efficient team player, leader and capable of working under pressure.
  • Driver's license is a desirable trait.
