Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Chief Investment Officer.

This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to drive our investments and lending strategies, leveraging their expertise to support the growth and sustainability of small enterprises.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing strategic plans, as well as guiding teams to ensure effective management of lending and investments processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sound lending policies, guidelines, and business planning.
  • Guide the management of lending and investments processes, ensuring efficient functioning and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategic business development plans and strategies to achieve growth objectives.
  • Lead the development of our vision for lending risk management.
Requirements:
  • NQF Level 8 in Finance/Commerce/Economics/Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of work experience in the financial services lending/development finance environment, of which at least 5 years should have been in a Senior Management role.
  • Extensive experience in working with small enterprises, cooperatives, and/or in Development Finance Institutions.
