As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including staff supervision and training.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies.
• Collaborating with other chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Contributing to menu planning, development, and implementation.
• Participating in inventory management, ordering, and receiving procedures.
• Assisting in the hiring, training, and evaluation of new staff members.
• Supporting the Head Chef in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position in a similar industry.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
• A strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
