Chief Financial Strategist

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a pivotal member of the executive leadership team responsible for shaping the organization's financial direction. This key position provides visionary financial leadership, directs all aspects of financial planning and analysis, ensures regulatory compliance, manages financial risks, and supports sustainable growth and profitability. The CFO serves as a trusted partner to the CEO and collaborates across departments to align financial strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support key decision-making, business expansion, and capital investments.
• Lead financial forecasting, strategic planning, and scenario analysis to drive informed executive-level decisions.
• Oversee the development of annual budgets, multi-year financial plans, and operating forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to internal and external stakeholders.

Accounting & Compliance:

• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead relationships with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.

Treasury & Capital Management:

• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financing activities to ensure optimal liquidity and financial stability.
• Develop capital structure strategies including debt, equity, and investment planning.
• Lead capital raising efforts when necessary.
• Establish and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Lead enterprise risk management initiatives and ensure business continuity planning.

Investor & Board Relations:

• Prepare and present financial reports and updates to the Board of Directors and investors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
• Lead corporate governance and disclosure practices.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the finance, accounting, and compliance teams.
• Drive a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement within the finance function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or equivalent designation highly preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance executive role.
• Proven track record in financial strategy, corporate finance, and team management.
• Experience in relevant industry.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
• Deep understanding of financial and accounting principles, capital markets, and risk management.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in ERP and financial systems.
