Position: Finance Director – 100% WFH

Job Summary

The Director of Finance is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, reporting, and operations of the company. The Director of Finance will provide strategic financial input to executive management, lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, and ensure the company's financial health through risk management, compliance, and efficient processes.

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead long-term financial planning, modeling, and forecasting.

  • Advise on financial implications of business decisions and growth initiatives.

Financial Operations

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

  • Develop internal talent and succession planning within the department.

Board & Investor Relations

  • Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors and investors.

  • Support due diligence and fundraising efforts, including M&A, equity, or debt transactions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Investment Banking, Private/Growth Equity, and/or Corporate Development / M&A background

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.

  • Strong command of GAAP, financial modeling, and performance metrics.

  • Proven experience managing a team and driving operational excellence.
