Procurement Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Sourcing & Management
  • We source contractors, local suppliers and international vendors/contractors based on project requirements.
  • We maintain and update a database of reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Procurement & Negotiation Support
  • Assist in all pre-sales and procurement processes including canvassing, proposal gathering, and initial vendor negotiations.
  • We conduct cost-benefit analysis and vendor comparisons for endorsement to Senior Procurement Officer for final review and approval.
  • Project & Site Support
  • We conduct site visits to ensure proper mobilization of manpower, deliveries, and equipment.
  • We monitor the progress of Cebu-based projects and report updates to the Manila Procurement team.
  • Administrative Support
  • We prepare reports, documentation, and procurement records.
  • Support other administrative and clerical tasks assigned by the Procurement Department.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or related courses.
  • At least 1–2 years of work experience in procurement, preferably in construction or related industry.
  • Background in procurement and construction is required.
  • Willingness to undergo training in Manila before being assigned to Cebu.
  • Able to work remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools.
  • Initiative, problem-solving skills, and efficient time management.
  • Ability to conduct occasional site visits within Cebu and nearby project locations.
