Home-Based Senior Accounts Receivable Professional

Our organization seeks a detail-oriented and highly organized Senior Accounts Receivable professional to process, verify, and post receipts for goods sold or services rendered. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

The successful candidate will have experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Outlook, and proficiency in Netsuite and Excel. Strong working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, and advanced formulas is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify receipts for goods sold or services rendered
  • Follow up on payments and allocate funds as necessary
  • Communicate with clients to request payment and arrange payment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of payments and account statuses
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Work with the collections department to review accounts and develop new repayment terms
  • Create reports and balance sheets to document profits and losses

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Payable and/or General Accounting
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
