The Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate supports the Billing & Invoices Specialist in managing customer invoicing, tracking receivables, and ensuring timely collections. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting in resolving customer billing inquiries to help ensure healthy cash flow and smooth financial operations.

1. Billing & Invoicing Support

  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices in collaboration with the Billing & Invoices Specialist.
  • Ensure all billing data is recorded and reconciled accurately in the accounting system.
  • Assist in monitoring invoice schedules and updating customer account records.

2. Accounts Receivable Management

  • Track outstanding receivables and follow up with clients regarding overdue accounts.
  • Support the Billing & Invoices Specialist in reconciling accounts receivable ledgers.
  • Escalate unresolved or disputed balances promptly for further action.

3. Customer Support

  • Respond to client inquiries related to billing, statements, and payment arrangements.
  • Liaise with customers professionally to ensure smooth resolution of issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications for audit and reporting purposes.

4. Reporting & Compliance

  • Assist the Billing & Invoices Specialist in preparing AR reports for management review.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes as required.

5. Process Improvement

  • Suggest improvements to billing and collections processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Billing & Invoices Specialist to implement streamlined workflows.
