Remote Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Remote Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the accounts receivable function for a beverage automation company. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and sending invoices to customers, maintaining accurate customer account balances, and reconciling subledgers to the general ledger.

Responsibilities
  • Invoicing and Billing: Generate and send invoices to US B2B customers, validate billings against sales orders, and maintain accurate customer account balances and AR ledgers.
  • Collections & Customer Communications: Proactively outreach on outstanding invoices and past-due accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and escalate disputed invoices.
  • AR Operations & Cash Application: Accurately apply cash receipts to invoices in NetSuite, process sales orders, create and validate invoices, post adjustments and credits, and maintain correct AR transaction coding and documentation.
  • Reporting, Reconciliation & Month-End Support: Prepare AR aging reports, cash forecasts, and collections status reports, support month-end close by reconciling AR accounts, and track and report KPIs (DSO, aging buckets, unapplied cash).
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to reduce manual effort, errors, and DSO, ensure adherence to internal controls and company AR policies, and document procedures.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of direct experience in Accounts Receivable and B2B collections for US-based companies.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on NetSuite AR experience.
  • Proven experience applying cash and resolving unapplied cash and payment discrepancies.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills for customer outreach.
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Pacific Time.
