E-commerce Customer Service Representative Job Description

This job opening is for a Virtual Assistant to work remotely in e-commerce customer service and order fulfillment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone must be addressed promptly and professionally.
  • The e-commerce platform should be used accurately and efficiently to process customer orders.
  • Inventory levels should be monitored and coordinated with the warehouse team to ensure stock availability.
  • Order discrepancies, shipping issues, and returns need to be resolved in a timely manner.
  • Clients should be informed about order status and shipment tracking.
  • The logistics team should be collaborated with to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Detailed and accurate customer records and order information should be maintained.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
  • A strong understanding of order management systems and e-commerce platforms is required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is expected.
