Treasury Associate (Mid-Shift Schedule) | Hybrid Set-up

The Treasury Associate role is crucial to sustain the increasing number of transactions handled by the Treasury Team. The team processes and settles approximately 350 transactions per week, along with a substantial number of emails sent weekly for payment notifications and follow-ups on proof of payment to suppliers. This role ensures that all Treasury transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with internal and external regulations and policies, safeguarding the company's financial integrity.


Overview

Position Summary: The Treasury Associate contributes to cash management and supports the company's strategic objectives by ensuring accuracy and compliance in Treasury activities.


Responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Work with independence, requiring minimal supervision except in unusual circumstances.
  • Stay abreast of internal policies and procedures, and external regulations affecting the Treasury.
  • Understand risk controls and procedures; adhere to company policies, especially those impacting the disbursement process.
  • Provide excellent assistance to internal and external clients.
  • Ensure timely release of requests and receipt of Official Receipts.
  • Validate eligible team members on time or before loading days.
  • Resolve cases in Workday within agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Address credit card concerns promptly and escalate to the bank if necessary.
  • Stay informed of BIR regulatory, compliance, and policy changes; attend required training sessions.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and interact professionally with peers, suppliers, and management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Banking, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of treasury, finance, or accounting experience in a corporate setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
