Internal Controls Specialist

Audit and Compliance Professional Needed

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Verification:
  • Conduct thorough audits at various locations to ensure adherence to established protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate employee performance, customer service quality, and compliance with company policies.
  • Analyze sales reports, inventory accuracy, and stock levels to identify areas for improvement.
  • Review cash handling procedures, POS reconciliation, and verify accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Detect potential risks, indicators of fraud, and operational process gaps, escalating them to senior management as necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive audit records and documentation for internal tracking and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and update audit forms and checklists to reflect evolving business needs and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with branch managers and head office to implement corrective measures based on audit results.
  • Verify resolution of previously flagged issues and provide recommendations for further improvement.
  • Enhance overall operational efficiency through targeted improvements and training programs.
Requirements:

A strong background in auditing and compliance is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A high level of professionalism and integrity is expected, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
