Accounting Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. He/She will also be responsible for preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses as required by management or external parties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
  • Analyses: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software: Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Working Conditions: This is a full-time position, with normal working hours and flexible work arrangements available. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
