Job Title: Intake Specialist
About the RoleThis position is crucial in the medical records retrieval process. Ensuring accurate, complete, and optimized intake requests for downstream success.
Key Responsibilities- Identify relevant providers associated with a client's treatment.
- Locate billing providers using various tools.
- Add identified providers to the request in the admin app.
- Review and correct incoming ROIs (Release of Information forms).
- Prepare accurate base forms and generate complete submission packets.
- Conduct a thorough QA review of each ROI packet.
- Assign requests to the appropriate records team member based on workload and utilization.
- Identify and escalate special provider requirements or edge cases.
- Prior experience requesting medical records from providers on behalf of law firms.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency with Adobe and PDF editing/combining tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
