Job Title: Purchasing Assistant

This is a purchasing assistant role that supports the supply chain team in sourcing, ordering, and tracking materials.

  • Sourcing and ordering of materials to meet production and sales demands.
  • Tracking of orders from vendors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date purchasing records.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and an interest in supply chain and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Procurement team in sourcing furniture materials and products from domestic and international suppliers.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders based on inventory levels, sales forecasts, and production schedules.
  • Follow up with vendors to confirm order status and resolve any delays or discrepancies.

This role requires strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. The ideal candidate will also have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Degrees or certifications (e.g., APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional) are a plus.
  • 1–2 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
