Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Inbound and Outbound Shipments: Overseeing the entire logistics process, from receiving raw materials to distributing finished products.

  • Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting stock checks, and optimizing warehouse space.

  • Coordination with Suppliers and Carriers: Ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any potential delays.

  • Transportation Planning: Developing and implementing efficient transportation plans, including route optimization and carrier selection.

  • Training and Supervision: Training and supervising warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

  • Food Safety Compliance: Adhering to all relevant food safety regulations, such as GMP and HACCP.

  • Reporting: Providing regular operational reports to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education:

    A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is often preferred.

  • Experience:

    1 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related operations, with a supervisory role preferred.

  • Knowledge:

    Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics processes, and food safety regulations.

  • Skills:

    Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Software Proficiency:

    Proficiency in logistics software, Microsoft Office Suite, and possibly WMS (Warehouse Management System).

Specific to Food Industry:

  • Food Safety Regulations: Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and other relevant food safety standards.

  • Traceability: Understanding and applying traceability principles to ensure the safe and effective management of food products.

  • Quality Standards: Adherence to the company's quality and Halal policies, if applicable.
