
Sales Growth Leader

The Customer Development Manager plays a key role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Manager, this individual will oversee the sales team for North Mindanao, supervising representatives in CDO, Zamboanga, Ozamiz, and Caraga areas.
This strategic role involves leading the team in addressing customer expectations and delivering exceptional service. The successful candidate will collaborate with the shopper marketing team to determine area opportunities and manage accounts receivable to support distributor cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Distributor OM in hiring, training, and evaluating performance of sales representatives.
- Partner with Distributor Development Manager to ensure salesman incentive targets align with National and Local Key Results Areas (KRAs).
- Establish team and individual sales goals through total channel and per account Value-Driven Account Channel (VDAC) that aligns with account monthly and yearly targets.
- Manage budgets for supermarkets.
- Cascade Shopper Marketing Activities to the sales team.
- Ensure timely placement of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Market Service Level (MSL) SKU.
- Prepare weekly reports highlighting drivers and necessary next steps to address opportunities.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for increased productivity and sales on both a group and individual level.
- Develop and control budgets for the covered territory.
- Mentor and coach the sales team with quarterly sales course refreshers to ensure adherence to basic guidelines.
- Collaborate with Area Activation Manager to implement big-ticket activations supporting revenue and customer loyalty.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to implement annual and quarterly sales plans and necessary changes to achieve objectives.
- Submit Statements of Accounts (SOA) weekly; manage accounts receivable per account to prevent floating balances.
- Conduct yearly business reviews with key customers and align with the whole-year plan.
Required Qualifications:
- More than 5 years' experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development, preferably in FMCG retail environments and distribution.
- Utilize creativity and innovation to develop solutions to complex problems.
- Ensure solutions align with organizational objectives.
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in sales or business management.
- Demonstrate leadership experience to maintain a high-quality performing team.
- Possess strong relationship and stakeholder management skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Exhibit strong commercial and analytical skills.
- Able to negotiate with customers and drive process improvements amidst complexity.
- Preferably with experience in sales within the assigned territory and willingness to be based in Cagayan de Oro.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Good driving skills with a valid driver's license.
