Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Coordinator to join our logistics team.
- Key responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end scheduling and management of freight deliveries between warehouses and retail locations.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating pick-ups and deliveries, managing shipping documentation, and tracking shipments in transit. You will also handle exceptions such as delays, missed pick-ups, failed deliveries, or damage claims, and collaborate with carriers, warehouse teams, and retail partners to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Your work will be essential in ensuring timely and seamless delivery and return operations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for freight scheduling and delivery updates across internal teams and external partners.
Requirements- A minimum of 2 years of experience in freight coordination, logistics, or supply chain support is required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple shipments and resolve issues concurrently.
- Experience with ERP systems, TMS, WMS, or shipment tracking platforms is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
