We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Intake Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing patient intake, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with healthcare professionals.
Job DescriptionThe Virtual Intake Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from initial inquiry to appointment scheduling. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient intake, including answering calls, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and timely appointment scheduling
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, appointments, and follow-up tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Experience: 1+ year of experience in a customer service or patient intake role, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in electronic medical record systems
- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
