Job Overview

The Accounting Head will oversee the full accounting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Leverage leadership skills to drive team performance and achieve company objectives.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets.
  • Develop and present insightful financial reports to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to support operational excellence.
  • Negotiate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of taxation, BIR compliance, and government reporting requirements. They will be proactive in driving process improvements and identifying risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Filing of all tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, income tax) in compliance with BIR and other regulatory agencies.
  • Implement process improvements in accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and cost efficiency.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
