Customer Service Representative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a customer-facing role and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service through phone, email, or chat
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Researching and retrieving information to support customer needs
  • Documenting interactions and process claims accurately
  • Staying current with training, updates, and program knowledge

To succeed in this role, you must have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications

The following qualifications and skills are required for this position:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior call center or customer service experience
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Typing speed of 20+ WPM
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and follow-up
  • Able to multitask and self-manage effectively
